• Slight changes in immigration law requiring green card for drivers license

• Worked with Congressman Charles Taylor and Henderson County Sheriff's Office Captain Rick Davis (now Sheriff of Henderson County) to bring Immigration and Customs Enforcement training to our area
• Working to see that immunization records for children who enter our schools are legal.
• Insisted that Agriculture (apples, sod, Christmas trees, etc.) be included in the hurricane recovery money.
